This
is my New Rottweiler MAX...
My former Rottweiler "Buster"
is also on the showcase, but he died in my arms from Parvo. I tried
my very best to save him...He held on for 3 days....
The first thing I did today, was to go to the feed store and got an
8 in one shot, that I'm to give him every 3 weeks, then once a year.
Tell all your readers to make sure there dog always have there Parvo
shots! I consider myself a pretty tough individual, but watching my
dog die a slow painful death of Parvo, literally ripped my heart
out. I buried Buster in the corner of my garden, under a shade tree,
so he won't get to hot in this Texas sun.
I learned allot from him the short time he was with me...He taught
me just how special and loving this breed truly is....He will always
be with me.......

Rudy, our other rescue was days from the needle. His previous owner was a vet tech that was terrified of him, and was sure Rudy would attack someone with a death as the outcome for both attacker and attackee. We have had the pleasure of Rudy as part of our family for 4 of his 7 years. Note that within 6 weeks of adopting Rudy, he passed the AKC CGC with flying colors -- when a friend called his previous owner to say "Guess what Rudy did," the previous owner said, "bite someone really badly?" Rudy is a love! his nickname is Mr. Attention deficit because he can never get enough from anyone.
Rudy was diagnosed with hip problems, so our neighbors thought he should swim in their pool every Sunday (pool man comes Monday), if we're not there by a certain time -- they are on the phone checking on him. On days his big pool isn't available he likes to practice in the kiddy pool. Rudy is a talker, rotty rumbler supreme -- greets everyone when they arrive home, tells us when the neighbor's cat is outside or when something isn't just right. And he thinks the TV is a big window, any time an animal comes on he's interested -- when they leave the screen he wants out into the backyard to see where they went!

This
is my beautiful spoiled rotten rotty, "TYSON"
I saved TYSON from a selfish breeder ( who's only interest was how
much money he was going to make, not the wellbeing of the pups )
when he was 8 wks old and only 5.1 kgs of skin and bones, but now
I'm happy to say that my handsome little man is 3 mths and
16.8kgs.......
"TYSON,
I'm so glad that you have come into my life, I love you more than
words can say" Even when you hog the bed at night.......lol.

Titus
will be one year old next month. He is an excellent dog. He weighs
90 lbs. Titus is a part of our family and gets along great with our
boys. He has been neutered and has a good personality. We love him
and are glad that we chose to have a Rottweiler.
Thanks for all the info as we are new to Rottweilers.

This
cute little pup is 8 week old Tia.
How could you get mad at that cute face for being on the couch?
She is definitely a rotten rotty, she whines whenever I leave her
sight outdoors and is quite spoiled. She gets her formal training
but at the same time gets to be a rotten rotty.

This
is Moose,
We have 14 birds, from cockatiels to cockatoos, and had decided we
would not own a dog. One Sunday afternoon we saw a notice on the
local store for free puppies. Ken and I looked at each other and
thought why not just check it out, after all we live in the country
now. We met the owner and followed her to her home where there were
two of the cutest pups I have ever seen. Ken asked which one I
wanted and I said I will let them pick who wants me, so I squatted
down and the runt came running up to lick my face, it was instant
love!
Moose is 11 weeks old and we have had him for one
week, he has only had two accidents in the house and they were our
fault for not paying attention. He is interested in the birds but
not to the point of concern. He loves running outside and at the
point of puppy exhaustion, love to find his pillow to sleep on.
Moose's dad is full Rotty, weighing in close to
200 lbs, mom is Australian Shepard and large for her breed. Moose is
weighing in at around 17 lbs, and gaining weight every day. We love
this little guy!

This
is Jake.
I had gone to our local dog pound to look for a dog, I really didn't
want a BIG dog, but when I saw Jake and he looked at me it was love
at first sight! I took him outside to walk and see what he was like,
he seemed gentle and loved being petted. I then took my husband to
meet him and he liked him too, the last test was to see if he was
good with kids since we have 5 grandchildren under the age of 6. I
had my daughter and her 2yr old son CJ come and meet him, CJ has two
big dogs of his own (st.bernards) so I knew he wouldn't be afraid.
Jake came out and ran right up to CJ and licked
him so much he fell over, CJ thought that was great and so did we.
So that decided it for us, Jake came home, he is really a good dog,
has only eaten through 2 doors and tore up carpet in utility room
once!! He has severe separation anxiety so we're looking for a pal
for him when we have to be away. He really is sweet , he thinks he
is a lap dog, all 160lbs of him and I often find him on our bed.
Well that's our story, thanks. Donna Sandor, Taylor MI
