Alara will turn one on September 27th, 2004. She was one of 4
beautiful pups. At 110 lbs., she has become our own baby bear (As I
affectionately call her). She is the sweetest dog I know. Loves kids
(babies especially, guards them like her own). She shares the house
with myself, my husband and daughter, the cat and her best friend,
Riley the wonder dog. (not a Rotty).
This is the first Rotty we have owned and we know now we will never
own another breed. She was the star of puppy class and is the social
queen of the local dog park. Here are a few photos of our pride and
joy. I hope you enjoy them as much as we do.

Mya is our spoiled rotten rottie! She is very cuddly. She loves to
swim, go for rides in the car, and play with other dogs. She wants
to be loved on by everyone she meets, especially kids! She is just
about 5 months old now and is growing like a weed!
This is a picture of her on a camping trip to the Finger Lakes. She
had a ball fetching sticks we threw into the lake and going
exploring in the woods!

Well, while my wife's at work, one of her employees told her about a
rotty that was in bad shape. She called me and asked what I thought
about it, and at first, I will be honest, I said no!!! We already
have two dogs, but I thought about it and by the end of the day I
called her back. But, she had already left, thank god. She wouldn't
have made it another day alone.
Well, when she arrived home we had to carry Lady from the car to the
garage, and she looked terrible. She was very badly under feed, had
oped fly strikes on her ears, her pawls were very swollen and sore
and not happy. I said well, we are not going to be able to do
nothing for her here and rushed her to the vet. She was their for
two days and finally came home, and she lived in our garage for
about three months, with air conditioning, and a new bed that I
built for her out of some wood left over from my tool bench. As of
now, she is a very happy rotty in her new rotty house!!!!

These are our two little girls. Kaylar is two and a half and Keeran
is ten months old. As you can see they get along great and are
inseparable. All of our dogs have gone to obedience training. Kaylar
and Keeran are going this fall for therapy training so they can go
to the local hospital and cancer clinic for weekly visits.
They are a joy to have and never fail to entertain us. They are very
spoiled but worth every bit of it since we get back way more than we
give. We would never have any other breed.

Maximus
is about 21 months old and weighs a whopping 146 pounds. He's very
big for his age , but very much a baby. His favorite thing to do is
trade for something he wants. He takes something of his , puts it
down in front of you , (or if you're eating dinner, on the table)
and wants you to give him something in return.
He also loves to walk , and his favorite toy is any form of
recyclable plastic bottle or jug.
Max is very spoiled, but we love him that way. In fact , he's such a
brat that he tells on our other dog , Medea , a small shepherd mix.
If she has something of his, he will cry and yelp in a high pitch
until we take his toy from her , and give it back to him.
We all love Max very much and we are very happy to have him, and
hopefully , after you read this , and see his picture , he'll grow
on you too.

Not
too long ago I was diagnosed with a terminal illness. For the
longest time I wasn't even getting out of bed, sometimes because of
pain other days because of depression. Then 1 day I went out to a
friends who breeds Rotties and he had 8 week old puppies and told me
to take one home.
Ever since I have had my little buddy life has been great. I have a
reason to get up everyday, we play, walk and best of all I can talk
to him and he is always there for me. He is just a sweet and gentle
soul and I love him dearly!

Tank
- (Varus vom Neuenschloss) keeps a smile on our faces and joy in our
hearts. His recovery from bilateral Triple Pelvic Osteotomies has
been miraculous and he can now live a pain free, spoiled rottie
life!! Tank loves to be with us wherever we are, doing whatever we
do. He has yet to meet a human or animal he does not like.
