The people & products we credit for saving "Legend's" life

As some of you already know, around April 13th of 2002, at just over 1 year of age, our big boy "Legend" suddenly became very ill with strange symptoms such as vomiting, lameness, lack of energy, joint pain, lack of appetite and parts of his body such as his lower lip & elbows became very swollen and sore. After numerous tests by our Vet such as Blood work, X-Rays and extensive physical exams, our Vet  believed that he was suffering from a torn Cruciate Ligament. As for the other symptoms, the vet was a bit puzzled. He then referred us to the local Orthopedic Veterinarian in the Manikin Sabot area of Central Virginia (VRCC). After seeing the vet there, he determined that Legend had the following conditions; Hip-Displasia (very mild), Arthritis in all joints, loose knees, fluid on both elbows due to arthritis, and that Legend's muscles has begun to atrophied. In the vet's words "This dog is a train wreck!" He recommended that we "Medically Manage" these conditions for as long as we could, financially & mentally. Legend was placed on NSAID'S (Non-steroidal Anti-inflammatory drugs)

Leaving this visit, we were the ones that felt like we were hit by a train. How could this be? He was so healthy less then 3 months prior? We then began researching Legend's symptoms on the net and came across a web site done by a local Virginia Nutritionist who later phoned us that evening stating she felt that Legend had a severe Yeast Infection throughout his body. She was going to email us articles on the subject but never did. So we began searching the internet on the topic of "Yeast Infections" and came across the "Nzymes™" web site.

My wife then emailed the sites owner, Stan Stansbury, about Legend's condition and symptoms. He then phoned us back in about 30 minutes. After talking with Stan, we then placed an order for his products, "Nzymes™ treats" & "Oxy-Drops". He also consulted a close friend Linda Arndt who is a "Canine Nutritional Consultant" who asked Stan to have us phone her right away. In doing so, Linda confirmed that a severe yeast infection could indeed be the culprit, as well as a possible food allergy.

Linda then went on to explain how the Nzymes™ & Oxy-Drops would eliminate the yeast infection from Legend's body and also suggested several "All Natural" dog foods that contained NO artificial  filers or preservatives. She also suggested special shampoos for us to use while his body was expelling the yeast.

Within 2 months, we saw a MAJOR change in Legend's condition,  his symptoms had dramatically reduced and appeared to be in steady decline. To this day, Legend remains on this regiment of Blackwood 2000 brand dog food, Nzymes™ & Oxy-Drops and has made a full recovery, to the point were our vet had to ask, is this the same Rottweiler? Legend runs, jumps and plays like any other healthy 2 year old Rottweiler. Our rescued female "Sheba" is also on these products more as a daily preventive regiment. I also should mention that both dog's coats are like glass and the whites of their eyes are clear and bright!

We want to publicly thank all of the folks involved in saving our beloved Legend for without your concern & dedication, Legend would most certainly no longer be with us. We are forever grateful! ;-)
